An essential for all economists
21 Oct 2012
By Prof. Ahmed El-Naka
I used and still using Sydsaeter book of (EMEA) for courses in mathematical economics. The book explains the mathematical methods in a very clear simple ways. The book is complete in its wide coverage of mathematical techniques required for economists. Beginning from the basics of algebra, functions, all techniques of differentiation and intefraction, simple review of differential equations, comparative statics , optimizations and linear programming. So, the coverage of the book makes it suitable for all levels of students either undergraduate or graduate. The book is also suitable for using as a reference for all economists or to be used in class. The book is self-contained. I RECOMEND THIS BOOK TO BE indispensable book in the library of every economist![]()
