Introduction

Good research and writing skills come with consistent practice. Contained on the website are a number of exercises that can be attempted in order to identify good and bad techniques and to practise your own individual research, evaluation and writing skills. The exercises cover such matters as clear and appropriate writing style, addressing the question, referencing and citation skills, answering problem questions, exam skills and preparing for dissertations. They should be attempted at relevant stages of your law study and the author provides guidance as to when it is best to complete them.
