Flip It
06 Oct 09

Every day we are bombarded with negativity, with gloomy news headlines and bills and final demands that threaten our fragile finances. Even our personal life can prove challenging; trying to balance relationships and keeping friends and family happy, whilst also trying to look after our own wellbeing can all seem like very hard work.

No wonder it can be overwhelming, leaving us feeling down.

But what if you could change the way you think, and turn the nagging worries and frustrations into stimulating challenges? What if the annoying obstacles became life changing opportunities rather than frustrating problems that drain our energy?

  1. What if you could ‘Flip It’?

Michael Heppell shows how some very simple techniques can be used to transform all aspects of your life for the better.

Flip It stands out from other books in the market. It isn’t a book about positive thinking; it’s a book about positive action.

  1. After all, positive thinking is nice in theory but often falls short of achieving anything. Positive action on the other hand takes it further. Through positive action you can take control and responsibility for changing your life – no excuses!

Michael teaches you how to spot the negative influences in your life- the things which wear you down. This knowledge can be used to your advantage, launching a journey to happier and more successful life, making the bad times better and the good times amazing.

The book illustrates how to ‘Flip It’ with relationships- Can you imagine regaining the thrill of a relationship so you feel same excitement as when you first met?  Most relationships need a boost and whether it’s with friends, family or the folks next door there are ways to Flip It and make those relationships better.

You can learn to control the competitive rivalry that comes naturally with certain friends or family members. And if it’s love you’re looking for, ‘Flip It’ can show you how to make little changes that will help you meet the love of their life and nurture a growing relationship to last a happy lifetime.

Money and personal finances are a major influence on our overall happiness- whether it’s worrying about how to pay that incoming bill or the relentless pursuit of elusive wealth. Now help is at hand as Michael shares his tricks for successful investment, how to not only survive, but thrive and how to ‘Flip It’ to help pay off debts.

98% of people believe they are paid less than they deserve but only a handful know what to do about it. Michael reveals how to use ‘Flip It’ in the workplace- from being able to spot success and achieve workplace ambitions to coping with job loss and turning a downturn into opportunity. Flip It teaches readers how to get paid what they are really worth doing what they really love.

The situations and scenarios where the transformational power of the ‘Flip It’ philosophy can be used are endless. From confidence and creativity to health, money and business, ‘Flip It’ can be used to make everything better.

Still unsure of the power of ‘Flip It’? Why not try one of Michael’s simple and powerful ‘Flip It’ techniques:

Think about the people who you spend most of your time with and see which of these descriptions best suits them.

The Sapper – You feel like all your energy has been drained after you spend time with them.  You appreciate them as friends but understand that they are mainly focused on two things; themselves and what’s wrong with life.

We’ve all had times like these but if your friend is a ‘Sapper’ they’ll be like this all the time you need to take some action to protect yourself.

Poor Me – They are very nice giving people, but… every encounter leaves you feeling sorry for them.  Sometimes this makes you feel guilty that they are so giving and perhaps you’re not.

‘Poor Me’ people also tend to suffer from illness more and as much as they don’t want you to worry, they’ll be happy to share with you all the gory details.

Groupies – Always chirpy and smiling and usually ready to tell you all about what they have done.  They seem to have a little bit of knowledge and lots of opinions about pretty much everything.  The challenge comes because they feel like they have to always be right and invariably you’ll soon feel like you’re forever wrong.

Grower – Wow, they make you feel good.  They’re interested and interesting.  They care and love to have fun by doing the things you want to do.  When it comes to support they’re there for you. You’re happy to listen to their advice because you’ve usually asked for it.

Here’s a simple ratio to help you get the best out of your relationships. Only allow one Sapper in your life – even one is one too many but I’m feeling generous. Then for every Poor Me or Groupie make sure you have at least one Grower

And if you need some motivation to take action then think about this.  You will become like the people who you spend most of your time with.

Why not take a look another look at your friends and judge for yourself.

Embracing the ‘Flip It’ philosophy will lead to fulfilment, positivity and success in all aspects of life. Just by reading this book you’ll be a better person; by putting ‘Flip It’ into action, you’ll discover your amazing true potential.
