Announcing the Launch of Wharton School Publishing: A New Force in Business Publishing

Pearson Education and the Wharton School have teamed up to launch Wharton School publishing, an innovative venture bringing together the research and academic excellence of Wharton and the publishing expertise and power of Pearson.

Wharton School Publishing will provide insights from academics and industry leaders through a portfolio of books and publications in print, audio, and interactive formats published in multiple languages. By publishing many of the world's leading business authors, Wharton School Publishing aims to provide practical knowledge that can be applied by business people and policymakers to make real change in their professional lives.

Wharton books will EARN the right to carry the Wharton name by combining thought-leadership, actionable ideas, ease of implementation in any organization, timeliness, significance, and a strong foundation of knowledge and research. The editorial board includes a cross-disciplinary group of 15 senior Wharton faculty members. Wharton School Publishing’s goal is to improve the quality of management; it aims to be a trusted and consistent source of relevant insights and new thinking for thoughtful business people. The editorial board’s high standards for this imprint will ensure that all Wharton School Publishing products are worthy of the number 1 U.S business school endorsement.

Business leaders and policy makers need to understand the changing environment in which they operate and acquire new ways of thinking about business challenges and their application to strategy, management and finance.
